Good morning!
Today we are so fortunate to hear from Daryl, who blogs over here. Go check it out, seriously. Cool things about Daryl include the fact that she does graphic design, and she's currently living in Germany with her husband. She also has some wedding pictures that make me swoon. And she was so kind as to guest post while I take my very last final today.
Without further ado, the lovely lady herself.

Hello wonderful Readers of Silver Lining!
My name is Daryl and I blog over at Roots, Wings, and Other Things.
I am so happy to be guest posting today!
I want to talk to you today about time.
It has a way of slipping away from us, faster than we would have thought.
My husband and I are nearing our six month wedding anniversary, when it feels like only yesterday I was stressing over centerpieces and flower arrangements and seating charts.
It is Christmas time once again, but doesn't it feel like Christmas last year just barely ended?
I have made a bad habit of letting my days melt together into one ordinary, continuous stream.
Getting stuck in a day to day routine is so easy to do,

I have made a bad habit of letting my days melt together into one ordinary, continuous stream.

and suddenly life's tiny beautiful moments are so much less noticeable.
The past couple days I haven't been feeling like myself, and I've only just realized that this is the reason.

I encourage you to take the time out of your day to celebrate the small joys it brings you.
Pause a moment to really contemplate what you're thankful for.
Remember that God loves you, and I mean YOU, specifically,

and that you are not forgotten.
Be grateful for each moment of life in this beautiful, magnificent world.
Because you're going to blink and suddenly it will be six months from now.
and that's time that should not be wasted.
This advice is for me as much as it is for you, and I hope I can be humble enough to take it.
What are you grateful for today?
