Did you know bamboo's supposed to be lucky? According to ancient Chinese legend, the number of stalks you have predicts the kind of luck you'll have. My bamboo is three stalks, which means happiness. {And considering this thing's been alive under my care for years, I'd say it's definitely lucky!} It's an easy way to add freshness and color to the lovenest. What indoor plants do you love?

ReplyDeleteSix years ago, when I got my first job, my mom gave me a little bamboo plant for my desk. I watered it every day for four years and it flourished. It really grew and looked awesome (almost like yours). Well, after almost five years, it started drying up. I wasn't doing anything differently. It just stopped living and eventually died. A few weeks after I had to throw it out, I got laid off. Coincidence...? I guess my luck had run out!! Eep.
Bamboo is one of the coolest plants, I swear!! I love it!
