I woke up early this morning and went to a hot air balloon festival. It was really amazing.
They had a big race, and contests where they dropped beanbags and popped giant floating balloons. Just watching them is really cool.
It was a perfect way to start this holiday that I love so much. Thank you to all who fight for this country in one way or another.
P.S. This is where my family lives.

There's a huge fire. Our neighbors have been evacuated, but so far our family's house is in a green zone.
I'm sure everything will be fine. The great thing is that people matter, not things. As long as the whole family is okay {which we are}, it doesn't matter what the fire does to our neighborhood and home. But still, if you're the praying kind like me, that area could sure use a spare prayer or two today.
Thanks. Happy fourth :)
i've never heard of a hot air balloon festival! looks like so much fun!

ReplyDeletealso, i'm hating these fires, i think that fireworks should be put to rest this year, i'm really worried that more will get started. my friend lives over their and they got evacuated. i hope your family and your home stay safe. prayers for you guys.

My parents live right there too. I'm pretty my mom took a picture exactly like that--how funny! But...I hope everything is going to be okay too! Those life-saver firemen will save our homes :(

I hope your neighborhood is kept safe and the fires don't destroy anything. That seems like slightly scary thing but it's true, as long as your with your family then that's what matters most.
ReplyDeleteHappy America's Birthday. :)
