Silver Lining: fear, and realizing your dreams

fear, and realizing your dreams

This new career of mine is new, and exciting, and scary.

Being a teacher is a huge responsibility for me, and I take it seriously.

I have a lot of growth potential. Think of everything I'll learn as a first year teacher! Being a teacher has been a life-long dream, and Tuesday will be the realization of that dream. All those years of education and volunteering and working has led up to this, and my dreams will be realized.

I might be a little less involved with my blog in the next little while, because family comes first, and church comes second, and my job comes third. I love blogging, and I'm excited to share my new teacher adventures with you, but it's also good to know that electronic things are a little farther down on my priority list.

So, I'm praying, and working hard, and getting so excited to face this new challenge.

  10. You're going to do great! My first year of teaching was the hardest thing I have ever done, but at the end of it (and after some summer fun!) I am ready to do it all over again. You learn so much your first year and the wonderful thing about summer is you have time to think of how you want to improve things.

  11. you will do amazing. the first 6 weeks are the hardest, (and then halloween, the week before christmas break, the week after Christmas break, after spring break, and the last month). make sure you take some airborne, and drink some tea with honey after the first few days. You'll lose your voice!
they'll teach you more than you teach them, and that's a lot! good luck (not they you'll need it. They will love you).
