the twins' newborn pictures!

Here's the thing. I take pictures of my children all the time, and I sometimes pride myself in my ability to produce moderately good photos of them. That's why, when I had Claire, I tried to take her newborn pictures by myself. Hahahahaha. It was a disaster! 99% of them turned out terribly, and that was after three separate photoshoot attempts. I swear newborn photography is a completely different world. Different camera settings, different equipment, different levels of patience.

That's why, with the twins, I wanted a professional newborn photographer. Enter Hillarie Mae Photography.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Hillarie. She travels to your home so you don't have to stress about leaving the house with a 5-day-old. She brings all the equipment (lights, baskets, heat lamps, the works!) and every possible cute baby wrap you might want. And then she works her magic on your baby while you sit back and admire the cute infant you gave birth to.
